Stephanie Rodriguez, MSW, LCSW-S believes everyone has the ability and strength within themselves to see the change they wish to see in their life. As your therapist, Stephanie strives to provide a supportive and non-judgmental environment conducive to overcoming any challenge. Stephanie graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri in 2005 and received her Masters of Social Work from University of Houston-Graduate College of Social Work in 2008. Stephanie has extensive experience working with trauma recovery, including but not limited to: family violence, sexual assault, grief, complex-PTSD and PTSD. 

Stephanie is a Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) through IITAP in the treatment of sex/love addicts and their partners. Stephanie is also EMDR certified and an approved consultant. Stephanie is a somatic experience practitioner (SEP) based off of Dr. Peter Levine’s work that works with the body to heal trauma and chronic medical conditions such as chronic pain, concussions, and TBI.

Kaitlyn Thompson, MSW, LCSW-S, SEP

PSYCHOTHERAPIST

Kaitlyn grew up in Baytown, Texas and went on to receive her Undergraduate Degree in Social Work at the University of Texas at Austin in 2013. She then completed a Master's Degree of Social Work at the University of Houston in 2017. Kaitlyn worked with at-risk students in the school setting for nearly 8 years and has experience working with refugees, immigrants, crime victims and veterans. She is Certified in EMDR therapy, which assists clients with processing trauma using bilateral stimulation and desensitizes the client to trauma triggers. Kaitlyn is also trained in Somatic Experiencing and can assist clients in processing trauma physiologically. Additionally, Kaitlyn uses the Enneagram as an empathic model for assisting clients in developing deeper self-awareness, Brainspotting, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Post Induction Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing.

Kaitlyn believes that all people have the capacity for the changes that they want to see and enjoys working with clients to take steps towards those changes. As your therapist, Kaitlyn is encouraging and will be dedicated to seeing you experience the empowerment that comes with personal growth. She is attentive and transparent and makes it a priority to allow clients to steer their own treatment. Kaitlyn is a strong follower of Jesus and can incorporate a Christian focused approach to therapy if the client desires.

Kaitlyn is also an Enneagram Coach trained through Your Enneagram Coach. She is able to use this personality tool to assist businesses, teams and churches in building better communication, connection and efficiency through improved understanding of oneself and others. She is available to discuss providing trainings and tools to groups in a variety of ways that could be structured to meet their individual needs.

Faith Larson, MSW, LCSW, CCTP-II, CIMHP

Faith has a master's degree in Social Work (MSW) and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Texas. For the past 14 years, Faith has worked with individuals, children, adolescents, and families experiencing complex trauma across many types of social services and organizations. Faith has worked in the private practice setting providing psychotherapy to clients since 2019.


Faith is a Level 2 Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP-II) and a Certified Integrative Mental Health Practitioner (CIMHP).  Faith is trained in basic and advance Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Post Induction Therapy (PIT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT). Additionally, Faith is trained in the revolutionary music listening therapy based on the polyvagal theory the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) and is a certified SSP provider. All therapeutic modalities are evidenced based practices.

As a clinician, Faith provides a non judgemental client centered collaborative approach which integrates trauma informed practices along with integrative holistic approaches to helping clients achieve overall wellness. By adopting a bottom up approach to mental health treatment, Faith incorporates sensory engagement, essential oils, acupressure, EFT/tapping, and somatic exercises into every session.  When applicable and appropriate, Faith provides a combination of modalities and holistic approaches to provide a comprehensive treatment plan which meets each client's individual needs.

Shani Bacy, LCSW

Psychotherapist

Shani Bacy, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and native Houstonian. She received her Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Houston in 2006 and went on to serve in the public school system working with children from early childhood through adolescence.

After leaving her career as an educator, Shani became a full-time advocate in both government and non-government sectors including a local safe home and the Harris County Sheriff’s Office where she provided case management and court advocacy services those facing incarceration and trafficked in the commercial sex industry. During her work in the educational, criminal justice and non-governmental sectors Shani has focused her endeavors on being a public servant.

Shani has experience working with youth and adults who have of sexual abuse, complex trauma, human trafficking, grief, substance use, learning and developmental disabilities, and co-occurring disorders and seeks to provide culturally competent and trauma responsive psychotherapy services. It is Shani’s belief that all people have the capacity for growth and will work with clients to overcome barriers, promote healing, and foster resilience.

Shani has been trained in many therapeutic modalities, but her favorites are Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy.

In 2020, Shani received her Master of Social Work from the Graduate College of Social Work and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

Courtney Shaw, M.S., LPC, LCDC

Psychotherapist

Courtney Shaw is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor. She received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Houston Clear Lake in 2016, double majoring in Behavioral Science and Criminology. She continued her education at the University of Houston Clear Lake and received her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2019. Currently, Courtney holds a membership with the Texas Counseling Association.

Courtney has experience working with a multitude of diverse populations to include military veterans, victims of violent crime, and first responders. She specializes in PTSD, complex trauma, family violence, sexual assault, grief/ loss, anxiety, depression, substance use, anger management, self-esteem, suicidal ideations, and co-occurring disorders. Courtney has been trained in many therapeutic modalities, but her favorites are Person-Centered Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).

Courtney believes that individuals are unique, possessing their own worldview, and ultimately are the experts in their own lives. Recently graduating from the University of Houston as a licensed Master Social Worker, Ceejay is dedicated to guiding individuals on their journeys to wellness and self-discovery. With a unique multi-focal lens and a holistic approach, Ceejay is committed to meeting clients exactly where they are in their lives. The practice is built on foundations of compassion and empathy, ensuring a safe and supportive space for personal growth.

Specializing in incorporating somatic exercises and breath work, Ceejay empowers clients to develop essential distress tolerance skills. Together, the focus is on navigating challenges and working towards emotional balance and resilience.

For those seeking greater structure and planning in life, Ceejay assists in achieving these goals. Clients and Ceejay create roadmaps for personal and emotional success through collaboration and tailored strategies.

Jennifer Muschweck, MS, LPC-A

Jennifer Muschweck, MS, LPC-A, grew up in La Porte, TX.  She went to Lamar University for undergrad and then University of Houston- Clear Lake for graduate school. Jennifer has a heart for helping others. She has training in trauma and brain science as well as 20 years of experience in education with all grade levels. Jennifer has a calm demeanor and a quirky sense of humor to put clients at ease. 

As your therapist, Jennifer is person-centered and uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy to help clients. She is in the process of becoming a Registered Play Therapist.

Khadija Durrani

Office assistant

Khadija is a Registered Behavior Technician in the state of Texas and graduated with her Bachelors in Psychology December of 2022 from University of Houston Clear Lake.Is currently completing her minor in Behavior Analysis to later on take her BCaBa exam. Khadija has experience working in a school setting with early intervention children with Autism and also in a clinic setting. Khadija will be attending her Masters in Psychology in the near future.
